Osage Creek Cultivation issues press release February 28, 2018 By Cannabiz Staff Osage Creek Cultivation of Carroll County, one of the five companies to be awarded the state’s first licenses to grow marijuana for the medical market, issued a statement today: “We would like to say our family is very excited to have the opportunity to work with the State of Arkansas to provide its people the best possible medical cannabis. We are focused on complying with all relevant rules and regulations and getting into production as quickly as prudently possible.” No interviews or further comments will be provided at this time. The statement was released by the company’s lawyer, David Nixon, and was unsigned. However, the Trulove family of Berryville is apparently the owner of Osage Creek LLC. Jay Osage Creek LLC was incorporated by Jay Trulove, who with Matt Trulove and Mary Trulove operates Trulove Dirtworks LLC. Natural State Medicinals of Jefferson County was the top scorer among all applicants. Bold Team LLC of Woodruff County was second, Natural State Wellness Enterprises (which made two applications in two different counties) was third, Osage Creek was fourth and Delta Medical Cannabis of Jackson County was ranked fifth.
