Short agenda on tap for Medical Marijuana Commission, River Valley plans change of floor plan November 30, 2022 By Griffin Coop A short agenda is scheduled for the state Medical Marijuana Commission tomorrow with only three items pertaining to cannabis businesses. The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. The agenda includes two notice items, which consist of changes to the floor plans at River Valley Relief Cultivation and Harvest dispensary in Conway. Alcoholic Beverage Control Division Director Doralee Chandler revoked River Valley’s license Monday at the conclusion of a revocation hearing. River Valley owner Storm Nolan, who testified in his defense at the hearing, appealed the ruling after the meeting. The appeal immediately stayed Chandler’s ruling, allowing River Valley to continue operating until the ABC board hears the issue, according to ABC spokesman Scott Hardin. The ABC is next scheduled to meet on Dec. 21. The third agenda item is a correction to the percentages of ownership for each individual and entity that owns Acanza dispensary in Fayetteville. The commission approved Fayetteville HOH’s purchase of the dispensary in August. Fayetteville HOH is owned by 31 individuals and business entities, including Cathy Mackey who owns the largest share at 26.3% through two business entities.Â
