Medical marijuana sales surpass $23 million in July, $1 million more than June sales

Medical marijuana patients in Arkansas spent more than $23 million at the state’s dispensaries last month, an increase of more than $1 million over the previous month, according to data provided by the state Department of Finance and Administration.

Patients spent $23.3 million to buy 4,171 pounds of products at the state’s 38 dispensaries in July.

In June, patients spent $22.29 million to buy 3,926 pounds of products, while in May they spent $22.45 million to buy 3,917 pounds of products.

Natural Relief Dispensary of Sherwood was once again the top-selling dispensary in the state. Natural Relief sold 392 pounds in July followed by ReLeaf Center Dispensary and Farm of Bentonville with 308 pounds sold.

Natural Relief and ReLeaf Center were the top selling dispensaries in June as well with 388 pounds and 313 pounds sold, respectively.

The Arkansas Department of Health reported 88,893 active patient cards, an increase of 4,421 from 84,472 cards reported in June.
