Medical marijuana expo provides exposure for cannabis industry in Northwest Arkansas

The Arkansas Times and the Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association hosted the Medical Marijuana and CBD Wellness Expo in Springdale last weekend with an exhibit hall of cannabis businesses and a string of industry leaders participating in a discussion styled after “Between Two Ferns” with Zach Galifianakis. The exhibit hall featured booths from dispensaries and other cannabis-related businesses. An interview segment, called “Between Two Plants,” featured discussions with industry leaders, including Steve Lancaster of Responsible Growth Arkansas, Scott Hardin of the Medical Marijuana Commission, Casey Flippo of Dark Horse Medicinals and Matt Dedman of Natural State Medicinals.  

Jacqueline Froelich covered the event for her Ozarks At-Large radio segment on KUAF and caught up with several industry representatives, including Arkansas Times Publisher Alan Leveritt, Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association Executive Director Bill Paschall, Hardin and more.
