Good Day plans expansion to Monticello, according to commission agenda September 7, 2022 By Griffin Coop Good Day Farm is planning to expand its chain of dispensaries to Monticello, according to the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting of the state Medical Marijuana Commission. The agenda includes a notice item in which GreenLight Dispensary of Monticello intends to notify the board that it will be changing its name to Good Day Farm Monticello. Name changes do not require commission approval. The dispensary, known as GreenLight Monticello, changed ownership last month when the commission approved TJ Patterson as the business’ new owner. The previous owners were Nikki Hood, Andrew Hood and Brent Gray. Good Day Farm operates three dispensaries in Arkansas: Good Day Farm operates Berner’s by Good Day Farm in Little Rock, Good Day Farm Van Buren and Good Day Farm Texarkana. Good Day Farm also has a cultivation facility in Pine Bluff. The agenda also shows that Fort Cannabis in Fort Smith will be notifying the commission it will be changing its name to The Greenery. Acanza dispensary of Fayetteville will also be asking the commission to withdraw its previous request to move to another location in Fayetteville, according to the agenda and supporting documents. The commission approved the move in June and approved a change of ownership for the dispensary last month. The agenda also shows requests for changes of ownership at Custom Cannabis of Alexander, Delta Cannabis Company of West Memphis and Natural Relief Dispensary of Sherwood. Natural Relief Dispensary is frequently listed as the state’s top-selling dispensary, according to sales reports from the state Department of Finance and Administration.
