Good Day introduces Game Day Gummies for football season September 21, 2022 By Griffin Coop Arkansas sports fans can add marijuana gummies to the smoked meats and cold drinks at their next tailgate party thanks to a new offering from Good Day Farm. The Pine Bluff cultivator has introduced Game Day Gummies, a package of 10mg THC cherry and vanilla gummies that are gluten-free and vegan. A spokeswoman for the company said the edibles are not associated with any particular team and are for “all Arkansas sports teams.” Cherry and vanilla happen to be red and white, the same colors as the Arkansas Razorbacks who are 3-0 and ranked 10th in the country in football, according to The Associated Press. But that’s probably just a coincidence, right? We asked Scott Hardin, spokesman for the state Medical Marijuana Commission and Alcoholic Beverage Control division, if there are any regulations that would prevent an Arkansas cultivator or dispensary from partnering with one of the state’s teams. “There isn’t a particular MMC or ABC regulation that addresses this issue,” Hardin said by email. “However, there is a prohibition on products with packaging that includes images of an animal, vehicle, person, or character. That would eliminate the majority of college mascots. Additionally, there may be NCAA rules that apply to schools’ partnerships/sponsorships.”
