Cooper’s sentence was commuted by former President Donald Trump on Jan. 20 last year, hours before Trump left office, according to the Orange County Register. In October 2013, Cooper was convicted of money laundering, tax evasion and conspiracy to distribute more than a ton of marijuana, according to the report.
