Arkansas dispensary sales on pace for record year, top $23.4 million in October November 14, 2022 By Griffin Coop Arkansas’s medical marijuana sales are on a record pace, according to sales data released from the state Department of Finance and Administration Monday. Patients in Arkansas spent $23.4 million last month to obtain 4,588 pounds of products at the state’s 38 dispensaries, according to the sales report. The state’s dispensaries are on track to sell $275 million worth of products, which would eclipse last year’s record of $264.9 million. “Since the state’s medical marijuana industry launched in 2019, the largest year for sales was 2021 at $264.9 million,” Hardin said in a press release. “Sales for 2022 should ultimately reach $275 million if sales remain consistent in November and December.” The October sales numbers are similar to the September sales figures when consumers spent $23.9 million to obtain 4,571 pounds of products. Natural Relief Dispensary of Sherwood was, once again, the top-selling dispensary in the state with 443 pounds sold in October. Suite 443 of Hot Springs was the second-biggest seller with 414 pounds. The Arkansas Department of Health reported 90,148 active patient cards.
